Massachusetts Foreclosure Listings
If you are looking for an area of the country that gives you a great reason to live there then Massachusetts is the place. It has the distinct advantage of being near everything on the northern part of the east coast and yet still far enough away from everything to make it separate. You can get to the cultural center on New York City in almost no time and still have that small down feeling.
The founding fathers started our country in Boston and a good deal of the history that shaped our nation can be found with roots still tied to this area so if you are at all interested in the history of our great country this is the perfect place to live and you can have the advantage of being there among all that pomp and circumstance at all times.
Home to Samuel Adams beer and the home of the Constitution and the Liberty Bell, the State of Massachusetts says that the three largest cities here are Boston, Worcester and Springfield. And speaking of Boston, that is not only a great city with fantastic architecture but the name of a famous rock band from the seventies that changed the face of what later came to be known as arena rock forever. In fact the band still tour about every three years and is working on a new CD and has a female bass player. The times have certainly changed.
The state is very sports oriented and if you like baseball you will find no more ardent fans than those that are dedicated to the Red Sox and Fenway Park and these are just some of the advantages of the area.
When looking into property and the Massachusetts foreclosure laws that dictate the foreclosure process takes ninety days and once the lender gets a court order to foreclose they can take possession peaceably from the borrower with his or her consent. If the lender maintains possession for three years, the borrower’s right of redemption is exhausted at that point.
All sales are done as public auctions at a place and time that is designated in the court order to foreclose.
